Based in Chessy les Mines (69) across a 2.6 hectare site, the company has a 9,000 m2 factory and new showroom to present its entire product range.
Over its rich history, the company has installed over 28,000 accommodation units, with this experience allowing us to offer a selection of different ranges to meet the specific requirements of three markets:
Creation of GI Production which released to market the very first ever rental chalet and launched the Gitotel brand.
Creation of Hekipia. Production of the very first wood and canvas Canadian Tent as a “camping ready” rental accommodation.
Export of the Canadian tent to Québec.
Takeover of Gitotel and launch of design, manufacturing and installation of chalets.
Inauguration of the new Hekipia plant. New organisation, new capacities, new ambitions.
The first export of Hekipia chalets to the USA.
Diversification of markets and development of the dedicated temporary housing offer and accommodation for private individuals.
New showroom with 14 models on display. New storage area for finished products covering 4,000 m2.
Increased production capacity for mobile products manufactured in plant. Increase from 4 to 6 production lines.
